What Buyers Usually Need to Confirm
YG Group offers glassine, CCK, PEK, MGK, PET, PP and MOPP release liners. Different basis weights, thicknesses, colors and coating configurations are available for pressure-sensitive labels, adhesive tapes, digital printing materials, medical products, electronics and industrial applications.
Paper liners such as glassine, CCK and PEK are commonly used for labels, tapes and die-cutting applications. Film liners such as PET, PP and MOPP provide different levels of dimensional stability, transparency, moisture resistance and strength. Selection depends on the adhesive, converting process and end-use requirements.
Our release liners can be developed for water-based, solvent-based, hot-melt, acrylic, rubber-based and silicone-based adhesives. Silicone, fluorine-based and other non-silicone release systems are available. Compatibility should be verified using the customer’s actual adhesive construction, converting conditions and required release performance.
Single-sided silicone coating is commonly used for labels and general release applications. Double-sided coating is designed for double-sided tapes, transfer tapes and industrial constructions requiring release performance on both surfaces. Differential release can also be provided when the two sides require different release forces.
Yes. Release performance can be customized from easy to very tight release, including different release forces on each side. Reference ranges extend from approximately 5–10 g/25 mm for easy release to 50 gf/25 mm or higher for very tight release. Final specifications depend on the adhesive and test method.
Please provide the liner material, basis weight or thickness, width, roll length, color, coating side, adhesive type and target release force. Information about the application, converting process, operating conditions, required quantity and an existing sample or technical specification will help us recommend the appropriate construction.
